Steven Fox-Middleton grew up in the high desert of the Northwest. He received his undergraduate degree from Boise State University and his MBA from the University of WA. He moved to Vancouver, WA in 1999, after two years overseas with the Peace Corps. After working in high volume manufacturing for the first decade of the new millennium, he transitioned to family and financial studies (Boston University).
Steven is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP™) and an Enrolled Agent.
The CFP® certification process, administered by CFP® Board, identifies those who have met rigorous professional standards and have agreed to adhere to the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism and diligence when dealing with clients.
An Enrolled Agent is a person who has earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service by either passing a three-part comprehensive IRS test covering individual and business tax returns, or through experience as a former IRS employee. Enrolled agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards. Individuals who obtain this elite status must adhere to ethical standards and complete 72 hours of continuing education courses every three years.
